(Al-Jasiya ) 45 : 19
إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يُغْنُوا عَنْكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۚ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۖ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ
Indeed, they will never benefit you from Allah in any case; and indeed some of the wrongdoers are protectors to some others, while Allah is the Protector of the heedful.
The wrongdoers mentioned in this verse include the hypocrites and their blind followers mentioned in verse 1: 7. They are the fuel of Fire, and they help each other in evil in this world, which causes them to gather in Hell together. But the Messenger or believer has no benefit with them in this world or in the Hereafter. As explained in verses 3: 101; 2: 256; 4: 174–175; and 5: 48, whoever holds Adhikr—the Unbreakable Rope—he holds the Lord and is guided into Straightpath. See explanation 34: 31–33; and 39: 32–34.
